John Lie-Nielsen founded One Park Financial in 2010 with a single conviction: small business owners deserved faster, fairer access to capital. Fifteen years later, that conviction has backed over 55,000 businesses and deployed more than $1.5 billion in capital across America and Puerto Rico.
Before One Park, John began his entrepreneurial journey at 25, founding his first financial services company and never looking back. Over the course of his career, he has built and scaled six companies, created thousands of jobs, and raised hundreds of millions of dollars in capital. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Tulane University and lives in Coconut Grove with his wife Darling and their four children.
John's leadership has been recognized nationally. In 2023, CEO-Monthly Magazine, with a readership of over 60,000 C-level executives worldwide, named him "Most Influential CEO 2023 – Florida" in the SME Financing Technology space.
